Wine World opened our newest location in Oct. 2011, on Niagara Falls Blvd., in Amherst, N.Y. Established in 1973; Wine World has been Buffalo’s Wine Store & Liquor store for the last 40 years. Wine World also proudly serves Amherst & the Tonawandas.

The store is adjacent to a Consumer’s Beverage beer retail chain, whose owners designed and developed the site collaboratively with Wine World owner Jim MacKenzie. “The two stores are a perfect marriage, “he says. “It’s a one stop shop”. Our goal is to be known as both “the best Wine Store in Buffalo” and “the best Liquor store in Buffalo”. We feel that through our weekly sales, Every Day Low Pricing program, & outstanding customer service, we can achieve that goal. And having Consumer Beverages next door to us definitely helps.

Wine World uses not only their own website, www.wineworldny.com, but also Facebook, Foursquare & an ever-growing mailing list to reach out to their customers & keep them up to date on current sales, wine tastings & special events such as the recently held Ladies Fall-Fest, which benefited Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and educational tasting seminars. “We are looking forward to offering our customers the opportunity to learn about and taste new product s as they arrive, as well as established brands they may not be familiar with” says manager Dave MacKenzie. “We are also excited about continuing our involvement with the community. We not only want to be known as a Top Buffalo Wine Store & a Top Buffalo Liquor Store, but your neighborhood wine & liquor shop as well.”
